Our Story
EduVera was founded by Natalie Botta, a qualified secondary school teacher who has seen firsthand how challenging it can be for schools to provide true personalised support in large classrooms. While teachers work incredibly hard, limited time and large class sizes can mean some learners miss the individual attention they need to thrive.
With over five years of tutoring experience and a Master of Applied Learning and Teaching, Natalie created EduVera to bridge that gap — ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and capable of success.
The name EduVera reflects this mission: “Edu” for education, and “vera,” derived from the Italian word vero, meaning true. Together, it represents a commitment to genuine understanding — not just memorisation, but meaningful, lasting learning. This purpose is deeply personal. EduVera is inspired by Natalie’s two late grandfathers — one from Italy and one from Greece — who, despite never having access to formal education themselves, dedicated their lives to ensuring their families had the opportunities they did not.
EduVera exists to honour that legacy.
We believe every student deserves the chance to succeed. With flexible tutoring available across a wide range of subjects, 7 days a week, we work to match each student with the right support — building confidence, skills, and a true education for life.
